OlyBet has been confirmed to be the Official Betting Operator of the Ryder Cup, following a partnership between the two companies.
The 2023 Ryder Cup will run between 29 September and 1 October, hosted at the Marco Simone Golf and Country Club in Rome.
Customers at OlyBet will be able to access Ryder Cup content through the platform, which includes coverage at its physical venues.
This announcement comes soon after OlyBet signed a similar deal to become the Official Betting Operator of the DP Tour.
Corey Plummer, Olympic Entertainment Group and OlyBet Group Chairman and CEO, said: “The Ryder Cup is one of the world’s greatest sporting events.
“The competition delivers incredible moments that will live forever showcasing the unique fan passion, sportsmanship and drama that can only come from sport.
“We are thrilled about the opportunities that OlyBet will bring to golf and sports fans to engage with the Ryder Cup through OlyBet brands and media and in person at any one of our 150 casinos and 90 sports bars.”
The Ryder Cup structure will be split up between three days, each of them with its own unique structure.
Day one and two will see four alternate-shot matches and four better-ball matches, with the home captain making the decision as to which order these will be played in.
The team captains for the Ryder Cup were announced in 2022, with Zach Johnson leading the US team and Luke Donald leading the European team.
The final day on Sunday will consist of 12 single matches, with the winner being crowned at the end.
Each match across the three days will be worth one point, with 14 required for the reigning champion to take the title or 14.5 for a different participant to claim it.
