The Lotofácil da Independência (special competition 2,900) will be drawn next Saturday, 9th, starting at 8pm. The prize for bets that match 15 numbers is estimated at around R$200 million.
This must be the biggest prize in the history of the sport. As the contest is considered special, the prize does not accumulate.
This means that, if no player matches the 15 numbers in the main range, the prize will be divided between those who match 14 numbers — and so on, according to the lottery rules.
Bets start at R$3 and can be placed until 5pm on the day of the draw.
This is the 12th edition of the Lotofácil special competition. According to Caixa Econômica Federal, the biggest prize ever paid by the lottery was in 2022, when 79 bets shared the total of R$177.6 million.
How to bet on Lotofácil da Independência?
Players can write down 15 to 20 tens from the 25 available on the wheel. There is also the alternative of allowing the system to make the choice automatically, through a “surprise”.
According to Caixa Econômica, those who match 11, 12, 13, 14 or 15 numbers win prizes — this being the maximum value.
Games can be played at lottery outlets or online on the Loterias Caixa platform or app, until 5pm on Saturday.

Players can also bet as a group through a pool. To do this, just choose the option on the steering wheel or ask the lottery attendant.
When opting for the prize pool, each participant will be entitled to a share, with an individual receipt, which makes it possible to receive the prize separately.
At Lotofácil, prizes have a minimum price of R$12. Each game must have at least two odds — the maximum amount varies depending on the number of numbers in each bet.
According to Caixa Econômica Federal, if a player wins the R$200 million prize from the Lotofácil da Independência alone and invests it in savings, the income will be R$1.3 million in the first month.
