Fast-growing iGaming business Checkd Group has signed a deal with bet365 for a fresh run of its much-loved I Had Trials Once podcast series, with the major operator utilizing the partnership to promote its free-to-play 6 Scores Challenge.
The popular podcast, which has achieved over 1 million downloads, features regular presenters, non-league Radcliffe striker Jordan Hulme and ex-Salford star and now football agent Gareth Seddon.
The first guest on what will be a new three-month run for bet365 is former Charlton and Bristol City manager Dean Holden. Each week, the two hosts will produce a video clip to promote the 6 Scores Challenge which will feature across the I Had Trials Once socials channels.
The new series is the latest in a series of podcast and video partnerships with leading industry brands that have brought significant engagement with Checkd’s large sports fan communities.
Checkd Media, part of Checkd Group, is producing I Had Trials Once, in conjunction with promoting bet365 and its popular 6 Scores Challenge. The free-to-play game offers players a top prize of a share of £1 million should they correctly predict the scores of six selected football matches.
Will Tyrrell, UK Media Director at Checkd Media, said: “I Had Trials Once has been a great success ever since it attracted a large, enthusiastic audience the first time around and it’s fantastic to bring it back again in conjunction with such a big operator brand.
“Dean Holden was a great guest with an interesting story to tell, kicking off a new series that is sure to be very entertaining while also serving as a valuable promotional tool for bet365’s 6 Scores Challenge.”
