The World Poker Tour event will take place from December 12th to 21st and will feature four opening poker games and a televised final table, with a guaranteed prize pool of US$40 million.
The inaugural event in 2022 attracted 2,960 participants and generated a prize pool of US$29 million, nearly doubling the original guaranteed amount. The top prize of US$4.14 million was won by Canadian Eliot Hudon.

The World Poker Tour will offer several opportunities
There will be 30 support events. The festival kicks off with a $600 No Limit Hold’em multi-fly tournament with a $1 million guarantee from November 29th to December 4th.
The 2023 WPT Prime Championship will take place from December 7th to 12th, with a guarantee of US$5 million.
The $1 million buy-in Big One for One Drop will be held December 18-20.
A $25,700 High Roller is scheduled for December 17-18, followed by the $50,000 buy-in WPT Alpha8 taking place December 20-21.
Nevada reports revenue of $1.4 billion in July
The Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) reported that the state’s casinos generated $1.4 billion in gaming revenue in July, a 6.7% increase from the previous year.
The Las Vegas Strip generated $834.9 million, a 7.9% increase from the previous year.
Clark County as a whole, which includes the Strip, downtown Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, the Boulder Strip and surrounding areas, generated $1.2 billion, a 7.5% increase.
Washoe County, which includes casinos in Reno, Sparks and North Lake Tahoe, saw revenue increase 6% from the previous year.
