The Brazilian Institute of Responsible Gaming (IBJR) announced, last Friday, the 1st, the entry of the digital sports media group Better Collective as its newest member.
With the vision of becoming the leading digital sports media group and with a strong focus on making the sports betting sector safer, more ethical and responsible, the new associate joins the institute’s member bookmakers and means of payment.
Founded in 2004, Better Collective has a portfolio of national and international sports media brands where sports fans can access articles and videos, betting tips and educational tools on a global scale.
Through its online means of communication, the company is aligned with the main objectives of the IBJR, such as the promotion of a safer and more sustainable sector for bettors and operators, an initiative that gains importance in view of the imminent regulation of the market in Brazil and the new guidelines advertising self-regulation.
In recent months, the partnership between the IBJR and the National Council for Advertising Self-Regulation (Conar) has gained relevance, focusing on the creation and implementation of rules and activities related to advertising and communication in the sector in the country.
The media group also proposes to further improve the debate in view of the approval of Provisional Measure No. 1,182, of July 24 of this year, which will regulate sports betting.
The advance in the debates will be based on the guidelines for sustainability and long-term growth of the igaming industry, which depend on responsible and legalized operations.
