The William Hill Nevada sportsbook app is migrating to Liberty, the sports wagering platform offered by Caesars Entertainment.
The Caesars Sportsbook Nevada app was upgraded onto the Liberty platform earlier this summer. Now, the company is undergoing a similar migration to the William Hill app.
The migration will provide a similar look and feel to the Caesars app and provide more ways to bet; including same-game parlays.
William Hill announced to its customers on Monday that it shut down its mobile app to upgrade to a “new and improved app” as the up-and-coming NFL season rapidly approaches.
Other retail sportsbooks operated by William Hill in Nevada will remain open throughout the migration.
Since customers are being migrated to the new platform, the app is currently offline.
All account access will be temporarily unavailable until the app has migrated; however, the operator has assured that all funds and open bets will be “fully maintained and unaffected by this transition.”
Updates will be shared with customers via email throughout the account migration.
William Hill owns more than 113 sportsbooks; it also owns an app and three sportsbooks in New Jersey; with operations in Washington, West Virginia, Indiana and Iowa.
Back in April, the operator partnered with TV reality show, ‘I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here,’ to be its main sponsor in South Africa.
Lastly, the company partnered with Manchester football icon Eric Cantona. He will be an official brand ambassador for the next two years, as well as being a part of the bookmaker’s new above-the-line (ATL) campaign.
